Met at the Airport, Bags and All
After a flight, nobody wants to split a group across three taxis. A minibus collects everyone together, with the luggage in the back, and takes you straight to the hotel, the villa or the first stop of the trip.
The meeting point differs at each airport
A few airports publish where coaches and minibuses wait. Madrid uses its T4 bus terminal and the bus park at T1, Barcelona has zones on level 0 of T1 and bays at T2, and both Seville and Jerez run a parking area for tourist coaches close to the terminal. Many others, Malaga included, publish nothing, so the operator agrees the exact spot with you when you book.
Rules worth knowing first
- A VTC car registered in another autonomous community may make a pre-booked pick-up at a port or airport if the destination is in its own community (LOTT art. 91.2)
- At Palma airport, coaches stop in front of the terminal in the outside Arrivals area, which Aena has reorganised by type of ground transport
- The cruise terminals are about 20 km by road from Barcelona airport (Moll Adossat), about 14 km from Palma airport (Dique del Oeste), about 14 km from Málaga airport and about 18 km from Valencia airport
Small details that save time
The covered car parks at Granada-Jaén and Girona-Costa Brava are only 2.5 m and 2.1 m high, too low for a tall minibus, so the pickup happens outside them. Short-stay areas allow a little free time, after which a charge can apply. Send flight numbers rather than landing times, so the pickup can be planned around a delay.
What travellers ask us
What if our flight is late?
Give us the flight number when you book, so the operator can see the actual arrival and plan the pickup around it.
Can a car with driver meet us instead?
Yes, for up to three passengers or a van-type car for more. It must be booked in advance, which Spanish rules require of every car with driver.
Which airport is best for Granada?
Granada-Jaén is about 30 minutes from the centre. Malaga is about 2 h 15 min away but has many more flights.
