Fallas, Holy Week, the Feria and San Fermín

Spring in Valencia and Seville

The Fallas run from 1 to 19 March 2027, with the flower offering on 17 and 18 March, when about 1,400 buses bring falla groups into the centre. Seville's Holy Week follows from 21 to 28 March, with processions filling the streets day and night, and the April Fair from 13 to 18 April at the Real de la Feria in Los Remedios.

July in Pamplona

San Fermín runs from 6 to 14 July 2027. In 2026 the old town closed to traffic for the whole fiesta, so groups set down outside it, and the 2027 rules arrive with the city's decree before the fiestas. We plan these days from Donostia / San Sebastián, about 84 km away.

How early should we book?

As soon as your dates are firm. Festival weeks are when everyone else in Valencia and Seville is booking too.

Are there other festivals you can plan around?

Yes, for example the Fiestas del Pilar in Zaragoza around 12 October and Alicante's Hogueras in late June.

• Las Fallas, Valencia — 1-19 March 2027: a mascletà every day from 1 to 19 March; the plantà on the night of 15 to 16 March; the Ofrenda de flores on 17 and 18 March; the cremà on the night of Friday 19 March
• Holy Week, Seville — Palm Sunday 21 March to Easter Sunday 28 March 2027; the Madrugá is the night of Holy Thursday to Good Friday (25 to 26 March 2027)
• April Fair, Seville — Tuesday 13 to Sunday 18 April 2027; the Alumbrado (lighting of the fair) is at midnight on the night of Monday 12 April
• San Fermín Festival, Pamplona — 6-14 July 2027: the fiestas open with the Chupinazo at 12:00 on 6 July and end at midnight on 14 July
