Las Fallas with Your Own Minibus and Driver
For nineteen days each March, Valencia fills with firecrackers, flowers and towering monuments that end in flames. With your own minibus, a family or club can enjoy the noise and colour, then slip away to a quiet meeting point when it is time to go.
The 2027 calendar
The fiesta runs from 1 to 19 March 2027. Every afternoon at 14:00 a mascletà shakes the Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Overnight from 15 into 16 March the monuments go up in the streets, the biggest by crane, ready for the judges next morning.
On 17 and 18 March the flower offering to the Virgen de los Desamparados takes over, starting around 15:30 and lasting until nearly midnight. Falla presidents rejected a three-day version in July 2026, so two days it remains.
Why the centre is hard to drive
The Junta Central Fallera reckons some 1,400 buses carry the falla commissions in for the offering, and many central streets close. No transport plan for visiting coaches is published, so the operator confirms each drop-off point once the closures are known.
Expect to step off where the closures begin and finish on foot. Agree a meeting point well away from the crowds, and keep it for the whole stay.

Fireworks and the last night
After the offering on 17 March there are night fireworks in the Turia Gardens; on the 18th comes the Nit del Foc. On 19 March the fallas burn: in 2026 the children's fallas were lit from 20:00, the big monuments from 22:00, and the town-hall square's own falla at 23:00.
A late cremà makes a long evening, so ask for the return trip to the hotel when you book.
What travellers ask us
Can a guest in a wheelchair see a mascletà?
In 2026 associations could reserve a space for people with reduced mobility, for groups of up to 20, at least five days ahead. Ask the operator to check the 2027 arrangement.
How far is the airport from the centre?
Roughly 10 km separate it from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, a quarter of an hour in light traffic, though closures during the fiesta can stretch that.
Are the cremà times fixed for 2027?
The times quoted here are 2026's. The 2027 programme sets them, so the operator confirms pick-ups once it is out.
