Coach Rental Across Spain

Spain by Minibus, at Your Group's Own Pace

Many of Spain's best days out suit a party of eight to sixteen: a hill town in the morning, a long lunch, then a winery or a beach on the way back. Tell us who is coming and where you would like to go, and we arrange a minibus and driver from a licensed partner operator.

Who does what

We are a booking service, not a bus company. The vehicle and the person driving it come from a partner operator that holds the public transport authorisation Spanish law requires of anyone carrying passengers for payment, together with its insurance. We choose an operator that fits your group and your route, have the day priced and keep the details straight until you travel.

Group hire in Spain is contracted for the whole vehicle. The minibus is yours for the day: nobody else boards, and it waits for you rather than for a timetable.

Why a smaller vehicle helps here

Spain's old quarters were built long before engines. Around the Mezquita in Córdoba only microbuses may enter. The road up to Alicante's Santa Bárbara castle takes minibuses up to 8.5 m long but no full-size coaches. In Granada's Albaicín the lanes are too narrow for a coach, so a small vehicle with the right access permit, or a walk, takes you up.

A minibus is still a bus in the eyes of the rules once it has more than nine seats, so it follows each city's low-emission zone and, in Barcelona, the Zona Bus system. The operator checks those for your exact vehicle before the day.

Days out our travellers ask for

From Barcelona, Montserrat is about 60 km away, with the cava cellars of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia closer still. From Madrid, El Escorial takes a little over an hour and Toledo about 1 h 15 min. Palma puts Valldemossa and Sóller within 40 minutes. Valencia's Albufera lagoon, at El Palmar, is about 15 minutes out, and from Cádiz the sherry bodegas of Jerez are about 35 minutes away.

On a wine day nobody in your party has to drive, and the rule for the person at the wheel is stricter than usual: 0.3 g/l of alcohol in the blood at most.

Long days and festival weeks

EU rules cap a driver's day at 9 hours of driving, with a pause of 45 minutes once 4.5 hours are done. A trip like Marbella to the Alhambra, about 182 km each way, is planned around that, sometimes with a night away.

In 2027 Valencia's Fallas fill the first nineteen days of March, Seville's Holy Week ends on Easter Sunday, 28 March, and the Feria de Abril follows in mid-April. 2027 is also a Holy Year in Santiago de Compostela. Those weeks fill early, so ask well ahead.

When the group grows

A midi-coach seats about 29 to 35 and a full-size coach 49 to 57, so the family reunion that became a wedding still travels together. For a couple or a guest of honour there is a car with driver, and wheelchair users ride in an adapted minibus with a lift or ramp.

What travellers ask us

How small can our group be?

A car with driver carries up to three passengers comfortably, and a minibus takes 9 to 16 plus the driver. Tell us the number and we suggest the size that fits you and your luggage.

Do you cover the islands?

Mallorca, yes. Vehicles and drivers for transfers and tours there are based on the island, so the operator is local to Palma.
