The April Fair with a Driver Waiting Nearby
Six days of casetas, music and late nights under the fairground lights: the April Fair is Seville at its most sociable. With your own minibus and driver, the small hours end in a comfortable seat instead of a hunt for a taxi.
Lights on at midnight
The 2027 fair lasts from Tuesday 13 April until Sunday 18 April. It opens at midnight on Monday 12 April with the Alumbrado, when the great gateway and the whole fairground light up, and it ends with a firework display beside the Guadalquivir.
Out in Los Remedios, the Real de la Feria covers around 450,000 m² with roughly 1,050 casetas. Many are private, but some public ones welcome visitors, so a first-timer can still join in.
Getting there and back
From the Cathedral to the fairground is about 2.5 km. That week the metro and TUSSAM's city buses add services, and since 2026 a walkers' entrance between the Calle Pepe Luis Vázquez and the Avenida Juan Pablo II brings the taxi ranks and bus stops closer.
Nobody publishes a coach plan for the fair, so the operator confirms where you are set down and where the driver waits. Agree one return time and one corner to meet; in the small hours that saves a lot of phone calls.

Guests with reduced mobility
Guests who hold a valid disabled parking card will find reserved spaces along the Calle Virgen de la Cinta and on the Avenida Maestranza Aérea. Nearby, both the taxi ranks and the TUSSAM bus stops are set up so people with reduced mobility can board, and the fairground has accessible routes. An accessible minibus can be requested when you book.

About 13 km, roughly 20 minutes in light traffic.
Can we get into any caseta?
Not all of them, as many are private. Look for the public casetas, which are open to visitors and give a group without contacts plenty of places to go.
Does the fair follow Holy Week?
Yes, it comes two weeks later. In 2027 that means Holy Week in late March and the fair in mid-April.
